Frostburg Lions Mission Statement:
WE ARE...Frostburg Lions...
...And we are committed to our community:   We strive to make Frostburg
a better place to live, work and play.   This website is an extension of  our
commitment to our community: a place where members of our community
can find information and help, just a touch away.

The Frostburg Lions Club has a long history in Frostburg.  We were
Chartered in 1945, and have dedicated ourselves to our community
through the years.

We were officially incorporated as the Lions Club of Frostburg, Inc.
September 9, 1961.

From our Community Health & Wellness Initiative, to safety information
during emergencies, to the Community Information Center, it's here.  You
can readily view the latest
AMBER ALERTS, and become familiar with the
missing children in the State of Maryland, as well as join the Frostburg
Lions - all from this web site.

WE ARE...Frostburg Lions...

Whether it is a pet food drive, vision screening for children, donating funds for a
program or project, Frostburg Lions are there.

Meeting Cancellation Policy...
Generally inclement weather is the only reason for us to cancel a meeting.  Our
policy is:

"If the Mountain Ridge School District is closed, or closes early for weather
issues, our meeting is cancelled."  The Club President may cancel meeting for
other reasons.

The Club President and Secretary will make every  effort to insure that notice
reaches all members and guests.
